Diploma in Ministry Program
PURPOSE
ACTS continues to be a unique source of training for all people everywhere. We are an inclusive matriculation program, designed for the woman or man of God, called to minister in any capacity. Even people who want to attend a Bible institute but are subject to discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or marital status find a welcome place in ACTS.
Our goal is to make ACTS affordable and convenient for you. Whether you are able to complete the courses in two years or you need to take more time and choose classes according to your preference, this program is designed for you.
SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
All classes are on a 3/1 timetable. Each class will begin with three weeks of instruction followed by one week to allow students to complete the final exam or project.
Classes consist of approximately two hours of instruction per week. Each course is credited as 6 units (hours). Students are also expected to interact in the Online Chat Room and Forum, according to teacher-specified requirements (accounting for about 20% of the course grade on average). Final exams or projects normally make up 80% of the course grade.
Classes are planned according to a North American Trimester system as follows:
- Fall (Autumn) Term: September-October-November
- Winter Term: January-February-March
- Spring Term: April-May-June
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS - (based on two-year matriculation)
Students receive the Diploma upon graduating from the ACTS program by successfully fulfilling the following requirements:
Minimum Course Work
- 4 Old Testament Classes = 24 units
- 4 New Testament Classes = 24 units
- 4 Knowledge-based classes = 24 units
- 4 Skills-based classes = 24 units
- 2 Elective Classes = 12 units
- Total Course Work Units = 108
Approved Service/ Spiritual Enrichment
- Approved Seminar/Conference = 6 units
- Encounter Missions International (EMI) Mission Trip = 9 units
- Approved service in Home Church or Equivalent= 6 units
- Total Service Units = 21

Growth Plan
- Submission of Growth Plan (by end of first semester) = 3 units

TUITION/FEES SCHEDULE
Whether you take classes live or Online, the ACTS program is affordable. Our goal is to train individuals for global service, no matter where you live or to whom you minister.
All classes will be provided for a reasonable cost of US$75 per course. This fee is to be paid at the beginning of each course. The $75 fee is required for Online students to gain access into the specified course.
Our Introduce a Friend incentive program will continue for Online Students. Introduce someone, who joins the ACTS program, and you receive a $50 discount from your tuition when you enroll for the subsequent semester.
Students taking live classes receive a $25 discount by paying for an entire term at the beginning of the Semester.
Fee Schedule
$75 per course – Due first week of class
$225 per term – Six terms TOTAL = $1350
Seminar/Conference Cost – (based on specific conference fees)
Seminars or Conferences are offered each year in cooperation with Glory Tabernacle Christian Center (GTCC) in Long Beach, California. Costs depend on personal travel/accommodation arrangements to/from the site. Conferences or Seminars not sponsored by EMI or GTCC must be pre-approved by the ACTS Director and Student Advisor.
Missions Trip – (based on R/T airfare, hotel accommodation, food, transportation costs and individual needs)
Mission trips are normally planned once every one or two years and vary, depending upon the destination. Most are planned to depart from Los Angeles, California, USA. Students may make separate travel arrangements.
