MIN106B – Systematic Theology (Part II)-Required Courses*
This second of a two-part series is for anyone who is willing to further challenge the mind to examine your beliefs as a Christian. In this course you will examine these three doctrines:
1. Doctrine of Humanity: Why were we created? Do we have free will? What effect has sin had on humanity?
2. Doctrine of the Church: Do we need the Church? What is the role of the church in society? What does a real church look like?
3. Doctrine of the End Times: Will Christ return? What will it mean for humanity? Will the world as we know it end?

In this class, you will begin by exploring the concept of ”religion.” Why does religion exist and why are religions so similar? We will examine in detail the four great religions of the world: Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism and Islam. You will also be assisted in developing an appropriate apologetic approach to sharing your faith in Christ with people of other faiths.

The key to success is to know the ways of God and of people. You will come to understand yourself better, how your behavior affects others, and how to effectively understand and accept how others behave. Your influence will increase as you apply principles from this course to improving your relationships with others.

DEV303 – Service/Spiritual Enrichment - Required Courses *
What is the extent of your involvement in a local fellowship? Who is your spiritual mentor? In which ministry activities are you involved?
Have your leader assist us in knowing who you are by completing the Spiritual Service and Enrichment form within three months of beginning the program.
DEV305 – Missions Trip/Evaluation - Required Courses *
Get involved in an opportunity for outreach, then write an evaluation of your experience. This is your ‘hands-on’ activity, a chance to put to practical use those things you have been learning in your ACTS courses by reaching out to those with physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual needs.
DEV307 – Seminar/Conference Synopsis - Required Course *
Continuing spiritual growth and development through corporate training is one of the expectations of our ACTS diploma students. Annual conferences and seminars are made available through the ACTS program and Glory Tabernacle Christian Center in Long Beach, California.
